The Amazon’s Wild Harvested, Wild Jungle Peanut

Wow, that’s a lot of Wild!
Preserved and harvested for centuries by an ancient Amazonian tribe, the Wild Jungle Peanut is said to be one of the healthiest in the world for it’s far-reaching nutritional benefits and lack of harmful contaminants.
The rare and exotic Wild Jungle Peanut is a key inspiration behind Haven and is therefore the spotlight ingredient in our original Canadiana and Amazonia bars. Since first discovering this magical nut, Cofounder Emery Bishop made it a mission to form a company that would be able to create nutrient-dense, ultra safe, authentically healing, superfood nutrition products in which every person who could walk away a healthier, stronger and happier human.

The Organic Wild Jungle Peanut is truly unlike any other nut, a rare heirloom peanut that is grown in only one region on the planet. Maintained and gathered for hundreds of years by the native Shuar tribe in a remote area of the Ecuadorian Amazon Jungle they are generally considered to be the healthiest and purest peanuts on the planet.
Each serving of these rich, aromatic peanuts contains over 30% Protein and 40% Oleic acid for a healthy functioning heart, and are jam-packed with Magnesium, Phosphorus, Oleic acid and all nine essential amino acids including Methionine— an important compound for proper metabolization, and has even been used to prevent liver and tissue damage. This makes them a complete protein, once again, uniquely as a nut and unlike most plant based proteins.
A healthy amount of the amino acid in our diets are said to prevent kidney stones, cleanse our bodies of toxic heavy metals, and aid in hair and nail growth.
For vegans and vegetarians this is even more important because all nine essential amino acids play a critical role in the proper growth and development of both humans and animals and can ONLY be consumed through diet. Many animal proteins are complete proteins but this is not the case for plant based which normally have an incomplete set of amino acids.
These nuts also lack the harmful myco-toxins known to cause peanut allergies and other serious health complications— including liver cancer, immune deficiency and even death— according to the World Health Organization. *IMPORTANT* If you have a peanut allergy then you should still advise a health care professional and be under medical supervision before trying to incorporate them into your diet.
Many people are unaware that food mold is responsible for a wide-range of allergies and physical reactions associated with diet. Mold is a fungi that can occur naturally on plant and animal matter, although it can easily travel through tiny spores in the air and land on damp food where they will continue to grow and become severely harmful to both humans and animals if consumed or inhaled.
What most people don’t realize about mass-produced peanuts on commercial farms is that they’re subject to mold contamination; while the mold itself is extremely toxic, it also releases harmful carcinogens known as myco-toxins— one of the deadliest being aflatoxins, the main culprit accounting for widesprea peanut allergies across the globe.
However, not to worry because Wild Jungle Peanuts are grown in their natural habitat in the Amazon jungle, they’re not exposed to mold contamination and therefore lack the presence of aflatoxins — this carcinogen is not only associated with severe anaphylactic allergies, but is also known to cause life-threatening disease in many individuals which may result in death.
Allergic reactions from mold contamination tend to remain unnoticed or misdiagnosed amongst many individuals since symptoms can manifest themselves in many atypical ways, such as migraines, gut issues and chronic illness.
The harmful effects of mold contamination found in other peanuts and nut varieties on the human body are also believed to be a major factor accounting for autoimmune disease and other severe allergies that can be passed on for generations when left unaddressed. Mold can take over the body if the immune system is already suppressed by something else, such as gluten insensitivity or prolonged corticosteroid use. According to WHO, it’s critical that exposure to mold and myco-toxins be kept as low as possible. You should now have a better understanding of what the Wild Jungle Peanut is.
